[Voptalk] Cross-platformness of SiVuS?

Hi!

After downloading SiVuS I can see that this is an win32 application, but 
requires JRE 1.4.

If it's written in Java, why making the win32 cruft to make it work on 
Windows only, while without it it could run on other systems that have 
JRE 1.4 available?
